The Infrastructure

for Italian industrial districts

Italian industrial districts.
Industrial districts are socio-territorial entities in which a population of industrial enterprises are mutually integrated.
The production and success of the Italian manufacturing industry is largely the result of this peculiar organisation of the production sector.
The opportunity for growth passes through a Digital Infrastructure. Rethinking production and their value chains with a more massive use of digital infrastructures and technologies will lead companies to equip themselves with digital tools that integrate environmental sustainability and greater development and control capabilities.
All this will only be possible if Italian industrial districts have an extensive fibre optic infrastructure and shared renewable energy sources.
MISSION
«Facilitating the digital and energy transition of companies in industrial zones by offering ultra broadband services and connectivity and producing green energy for self-consumption within the energy community»
What is a REC:
The Renewable Energy Community (REC) is a LEGAL ENTITY that includes local public authorities, companies, commercial activities, or private citizens who independently choose to use infrastructure for the production of energy from renewable sources. Each member, equipped with their own power generation system for self-consumption, shares any excess energy with other entities connected to the smart grid—an intelligent infrastructure that links all members of the energy community, creating a COLLABORATIVE ENERGY SHARING system that promotes energy independence from the national power grid.
By joining a REC, companies can share self-produced energy from a single plant, consume it at different times and in varying amounts, and consequently reduce procurement costs. Additionally, the incentive tariff and the 40% non-repayable grant provide significant economic opportunities.

The benefits of CER:

Networking and
Digital Transition
CERs in industrial districts foster collaboration between companies, creating synergies and business opportunities, collective participation and optimisation of energy resources through digital tools for monitoring and managing flows.

Sustainability and
Social Responsibility
Technological advances in systems for producing energy from renewable sources have made smaller and smaller plants feasible and introduced new green models. Being an active participant in a CER demonstrates a commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Reducing Energy Costs and Accessing Dedicated Economic Incentives
By participating in a CER, companies can share the self-generated energy from the same plant, consume it at different times and in different quantities and thus reduce procurement costs. In addition, the feed-in tariff and the grant offer significant economic opportunities.

Our offer:
-
Ultranet builds ULTRAgreen Renewable Energy Communities
Ultranet builds photovoltaic production facilities in the CER, follows the creation and full-service management of the CER and coordinates the main stakeholders for ULTRAgreen Districts.
-
Ultranet realises an ULTRA-fast network
Ultranet, using its own expertise, builds fibre optic connections for companies based on point-to-point FTTO (Fibre To The Office) or point-to-multipoint FTTT-FWA (Fibre To The Tower) technologies to provide ultra-fast symmetrical connectivity. -
Ultranet enables ULTRAsmart services
Thanks to Ultranet's ultra-fast fibre optic infrastructures and energy services provided for CERs in partnership with major energy players, production chains will be able to take advantage of ULTRAsmart services such as automation, real-time remote maintenance (also through augmented reality), but also of technologies for physical security with video surveillance solutions, cyber security, smart building, logistics management and IOT solutions to ensure business continuity.
